Hot Links to Learning - Cultural Diversity

Happy Waitangi Day, Thaipoosam Cavadee, and Independance Day!

In this week’s Hot Links To Learning we chose to share some snippets of celebrations as they happened across the globe this week. We like to acknowledge events across all cultures and celebrate diversity, so we’ll be sharing with you some events each week from the multicultural calendar.

We have also collated some interesting articles on several subjects, one of which shines a light on various views that expats have towards Australian habits, plus 2 videos that relate to multicultural subjects.

The additional articles offer insights into interesting subjects in regards to professional development. They provide tips on how to retain learned knowledge for longer, and what expressions you shouldavoid using in the workplace, if you want to work with others in a more effective way.

Part of these expressions relate to giving and receiving feedback at work, and at Southern Cross Coaching & Development we provide training in how to appropriately and respectfully provide feedback to your co-workers. We also offer a range of other professional & personal development courses.

Give us a call on 02 7901 5618 or reply to this email to talk through your requirements, and see how we can tailor a program for you.
